The Projected Revamp

I am writing this article on a Tuesday evening with my political analyst and good friend Bingo Alcordo.

I do not pretend to be a crystal ball seer nor a hardener of the fortent to come but I will attempt to analyze the events of the next seven days which would spell a difference in the political landscape of the Philippines.

I could be wrong or I could be greatly correct.

Let me begin with the Court of Appeals of Cagayan de Oro. The Executive Justice of the Court of Appeals of Mindanao which comprises divisions 23rd, 22nd, and 21st divisions is Justice Romulo Borja. There is, however, great vile report that he would soon be replacing Justice Gaerlan. This person later mentioned is an unknown entity but carries a heavy weight.

There is also reliable report that Justices Villamor, Lopez, and Ybañez who are reported to be of the San Beda College of Law clique are poised to assume a vital role in the administration of justice in this side of the country.

The revamp will not only affect local politics but may also give credents to the humor that Angeles City Mayor Pamintuan of Pampanga, who was very influential at the Basis Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) will assume the position of Commissioner of Immigration to replace the present commissioner of the BID Marcelino Lebanan.

However, the great vine is also rich with humors that former senator Tessie Aquino-Oreta, the sister of Philippine Hero Benigno Aquino, is interested to assume the Immigration Commissioner position.

Putting all these together, the Philippine political scenario thrives in chismis and humors. I cannot be faulted if none of these projections would come through because I am only trying to anticipate whether or not their humors are reliable or false. In fine, I am only anticipating what the future would bring.

Like Bingo Alcordo said, we are only as good as our sources and as bad as the humor-mongerers.
